Back status: still in pain, but will go to the gym to stretch it out some. I always have to mail a package today.
I was starving when I got to the going away party at my former place of work. I knew that we would have a ton of good food (with 12 people working there, and them all bringing something), but I was not prepared to the quality of food! We had taco dip, chicken and orzo, quiche, oh my, my mouth is watering just thinking about it! I decided to put a slide show of my pictures instead of posting each one separately, to save space. Of course, it starts out with a picture of my adorably devil-cat Ziggy. If you have any questions about what any of the foods are, leave a comment. I got a lovely clover plant, balloons, and everyone signed a card which almost brought tears to my eyes. I really am going to miss the people there!
I came home and crashed. Got up this morning, worked on this post, uploaded some photos to Facebook, now I’m going to go ahead and head off to do my errands! No breakfast yet.

I decided to go ahead and make some of the dishes for the Superbowl today while I had the time. Both the magic cookie bars and the shrimp dip would taste even better after letting them sit.
The magic cookie bars are from a box mix, the Eagle Brand one to be exact. I’ve been eyeballing it for years, but finally had a reason to snatch it up. Even though I’m not that much of a butterscotch fan, these are some of the best things I have ever put my mouth on.
Then I fixed shrimp dip, which is my absolute favorite party good. It’s not fattening at all, and even more so this time because I picked up reduced fat cream cheese.
So what all is on our menu?

- Oreos
- Beer (not sure what kind, the boyfriend is in charge of that)
- Pigs in a blanket
- Velveeta, rotel & hamburger dip with chips (the boy’s request)
